Partner program

The ChatNorris partner program connects the companies that create their account with the person or agency that recommended the platform to them. Each organization can be associated with only one partner, and that association is made only once. This guide has two parts:
  • If you’re a customer: how to enter a partner code when you sign up or later.
  • If you’re a partner: how to use the Partner section of your account.
Want to become a ChatNorris partner? Write to us at hola@chatnorris.ai.

For customers: use a partner code

When you create your account

The sign-up form shows the Do you have a partner code? link. Clicking it opens the Partner code (optional) field.
1

Type the code

Type the code your partner gave you (for example, NORRIS-NOMBRE).
2

Check the verification

ChatNorris verifies it as you type. If it’s valid, you’ll see Code from followed by the partner’s name. If it can’t find it, you’ll see a warning, but you can still create your account and add it later.
3

Finish signing up

The field is optional and never blocks sign-up. The code is assigned when the organization is created.
If you sign up with Google, the code you typed before going to Google is kept and shows up again in the step to complete your sign-up. If you reached ChatNorris from a partner link (a link that ends in ?ref= and a code), the code is saved in your browser and, if it’s valid, the sign-up field appears filled in with it.
  • If you type another valid code, the one you typed wins.
  • If you clear the code from the field, the one from the link is still used.

Add it after signing up

If you didn’t enter a code when you signed up, you can add it in Settings → General, in the Partner section:
1

Open Settings → General

Only the organization’s owners and admins see this section.
2

Enter the code

Type the code in Partner code and click Apply.
3

Confirm the association

You’ll see the message Done: your account is now associated with and the partner’s name.
You have 14 days from the creation of the organization to add it; the section shows you the deadline. After that, if the account has no partner, the section no longer appears.
Once your account is associated with a partner, the section only shows Your account is associated with and their name: it can’t be changed from your account. If you need it reviewed, write to us at hola@chatnorris.ai.

For partners: the Partner section

If you’re a partner, the Partner entry appears in your account’s sidebar, below Settings. Only the user linked to the partner sees it; the other members of your organization don’t. If you don’t see it, write to us at hola@chatnorris.ai to link your user. The section has five pages. All amounts are shown in US dollars (USD).

Home

Here you’ll find what you need to recommend ChatNorris:
  • Your code and Your link, each with a Copy button.
  • QR code that leads to your link, with the Download QR button. Useful for presentations, business cards or printed material.
  • Copy WhatsApp message: a ready-to-share message that includes your link and your code.
  • Indicators: Paying accounts, This month, Balance to settle and Next payment.
If your participation in the program isn’t active, or your code is deactivated, Home doesn’t show your link, your QR or the WhatsApp message, because new accounts wouldn’t be assigned to you. What you’ve already earned is still shown and the rest of the section works the same.

My accounts

Lists the companies assigned to your code with their Plan, their Status (Trial or free plan, Active, Paused or Ended), the details of their time frames and the date they were assigned. For privacy, you only see the company name: never its contacts, users or conversations.

Commissions

Shows each commission, refund, chargeback or adjustment from your accounts, sorted by accrual month, with On hold, Available and Voided totals.
  • Choose the month range with From and To.
  • Download the range’s transactions with Export CSV.

Payouts

Shows what we pay you each month, with its status (Approved, to be paid or Paid). We email you when we approve a payout. When you open a payout you see the Detail per account and, if it’s already paid, the payment date and reference. If something doesn’t add up (a missing account, a different amount), use Object to payout, tell us what’s wrong and click Send objection. You can object only once per payout, up to 30 days after it’s approved. We’ll reply by email, and the reply is also visible in the detail.

Payout details

Here you tell us where to transfer your commissions. Without these details we can’t pay you.
1

Click Add payout details

If you already have saved details, the button is Change details.
2

Choose how you want to get paid

  • Bank account in Chile: transfer in Chilean pesos. Asks for the account holder’s name and RUT, bank, account type, account number and an email to send you the receipt.
  • Global66: outside Chile, in USD. Asks for the account holder’s name, your Global66 account email and the country.
  • PayPal: outside Chile, in USD. Asks for the account holder’s name and your PayPal account email.
3

Save

Click Save. We send you a confirmation email.
After you save, your details are shown masked (for example, only the last digits of the account). We store them encrypted and only the ChatNorris team sees them, when paying you.
For security, to change your details you have to type them in full again. Every change is emailed to you: if you get an alert about a change you didn’t make, write to us right away at hola@chatnorris.ai.
