# List sources

> Get all the sources in an agent's knowledge base.

# List knowledge sources

Returns all the sources in an agent's knowledge base, sorted by creation date in descending order.

### Response fields

| Field | Type | Description |

| `id` | string | Unique ID of the source |
| `name` | string | Descriptive name of the source |
| `type` | string | Source type: `url`, `sitemap`, `url_list`, `document`, `text`, `faq`, `woocommerce_catalog`, `woocommerce_variations`, `zendesk`, `google_drive` or `freshdesk`. From the API you can only create `url`, `text` and `faq`; the rest are added from the dashboard |
| `status` | string | Status: `pending`, `processing`, `ready` or `error` |
| `source_url` | string \| null | Source URL (for URL-based sources, such as `url` or `sitemap`) |
| `char_count` | integer | Characters indexed |
| `chunk_count` | integer | Chunks generated for vector search |
| `last_synced` | string | Last processing date (ISO 8601) |
| `error_message` | string \| null | Error message if `status` is `error` |
| `created_at` | string | Creation date (ISO 8601) |
